FreezeAus

From orchard to pouch, without the heat

FreezeAus started with a simple frustration: dried fruit at the supermarket is usually soaked in sugar syrup before it's dried, and frozen fruit turns to mush the second it thaws. Freeze-drying was the only process that kept the fruit close to fresh without either problem — so we built the business around doing it properly, in small batches, with fruit sourced from Australian growers.

Freeze-dried raspberries and blueberries

Sourcing

We buy directly from Australian berry growers at peak ripeness, when the fruit's natural sugars and flavour are at their highest.

Freeze-drying

Fruit is frozen solid, then placed under vacuum so the ice sublimates directly into vapour — no heat, no cooking, no added sugar needed.

Packing

Sealed in resealable, light-blocking pouches that keep the fruit crisp for well over a year, then dispatched from our Australian warehouse.
